If you want to try to make "Instant Liquid Sculptures" on your own, you will need to either buy a bunch of Sodium Acetate powder, or you can cut open a Reusable hand Warmer that I have verified to contain a high enough content of Sodium Acetate to make the experiment work.

Here is my list of products that will work and from trusted vendors that will fill the order quickly.

    1. EZ Heat Reusable Hand Warmer
This is the one I used in the video. It will work and is shipped fast. You can also find this at some REI stores and some Sports Authority stores, but I would call them first as they don't seem to stock it much.

    2. Proheat Reusable Hand Warmer
Though I did not use this one in the video, I have verified it also contains a high potency of Sodium Acetate and works well for the experiments seen in the video.

Hope this helps you all find your own sodium acetate.

This weeks SCITUES answers the burning question that many of us get each and every night.

"What would happen if I put a Styrofoam cup into a bowl of acetone?"

The answer is quite simple, because styrofoam and acetone are both non-polar substances, they react by dissolving into each other. So saying that the styrofoam is melting is not exactly true as it more or less just dissolves entirely.

Google has implemented their new "internet based" ad technology that reads through your browsing history to cater to you based on the types of websites that you visit. You can visit here to have your Google Ad Preferences protected so that some of your information is not kept track of. You can also totally opt out of Google ad targeting on that same page but if you delete your cookies these settings will be lost. There is also now a plug-in available that was developed by Google that will keep you targeted ad free even if you delete your cookies as a regular security and privacy measure.
