How to enable GodMod in Windows

Ok, so if anyone watched Trav's live show the other day, you will know that some people were having some serious issues with GodMode. I'm not completely sure what the issue was, but some people just couldn't seem to figure it out. Because of this, I've decided to make a simple thread outlining how the process works so you will be able to accomplish the task yourself.

Before we start, I want to warn all Windows Vista 64-bit users NOT to try this on your machine. For some unknown reason, GodMode is not compatible with the 64-bit of Windows Vista. Vista 32-bit and Windows 7 64-bit users should be fine.

WARNING NUMBER TWO: If for some reason this does not work and renders your operating system incapable of preforming necessary functions, you will be required to reinstall your OS. Note: This means losing all of your files as you will be unable to back them up after a failed attempt at GodMode.

First off, what is GodMode? To put it as simple as possible, GodMode is an application for systems running Windows OS that allows them to view all administrative functions and options in one area. It is particularly helpful if you're attempting to tweak your system to run faster or more efficiently, or if you're like me and happen to be the go to tech guy for all of your friends computer issues; GodMode can help in fixing small issues on the computer.

If this sounds like something you'd like to open on your system, follow the instructions below.

STEP ONE
Create a new folder on your desktop or whatever location you want GodMode to be in, I personally like GodMode on my desktop.

STEP TWO
Right click the folder and select "Rename".

STEP THREE
Paste this code into the folder name:

GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

Note: The most common mistake we found people making was that they were adding spaces. There should be no spaces whatsoever in the folder name.

STEP FOUR
Hit enter. The folders name should appear as "GodMode"

To check and make sure it worked properly, right click the folder and select properties. The target field should have that code from earlier in it. Also, the icon should have changed from the default folder icon to the god mode icon (which appears as a blue monitor).
