How to make Magnetic Fluid (ferro fluid)

In this episode of Scientific Tuesdays (read: Wednesday) I am going to show you how to make your own magnetic fluid. Now what is the point of this you may ask? None, really. But it looks awesome and you could potentially make some beautiful art using these methods.
